• Fermata School of Music Lucan Calendar

  • Please find our calendar for Academic Year 2019/2020 which will consist 3 regular Terms between September 2019 and June 2020 (up to 35 lessons) and non-mandatory summer fourth Term between July and August  (up to 8 lessons).

    Term 1 of Academic Year 2019/2020 will commence on Monday 9-Sep-2019.

    Term 2 of Academic Year 2019/2020 will commence on Monday 9-Dec-2019. 

    Term 3 of Academic Year 2019/2020 will commence on Monday 23-Mar-2020. 

    Term 4 of Academic Year 2019/2020 will commence on Monday 29-Jun-2020.

    Note: Term 4 isn't compulsory and it is dedicated to all students that would like to continue music development over summer months. The three-term season end with Summer Recital on Sunday, 21-Jun 2020.

    Depends on the you attend your classes there might slight difference in number of lessons scheduled and this will be reflected in your monthly or term payment. There will be up to 35 lessons on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Up to 34 lessons on Mondays. Up to 33 lessons on Mondays & Sundays. Finally we will schedule up to 31 lessons on Saturdays.

    In this section you will find all necessary information about academic year 2019/2020 working plan. Please read this section carefully as you can notice any planned closures, midterm brakes and other important event for next 12 months.

  • Term Dates

    Term 1 of Academic Year 2019/2020 will commence on Monday 9-Sep-2019 and last until Sunday 8-Dec-2019

    Term 2 of Academic Year 2019/2020 will commence on Monday 9-Dec-2019 and last until Sunday 22-Mar-2020

    Term 3 of Academic Year 2019/2020 will commence on Monday 23-Mar-2020 and last until Sunday 21-Jun-2020

    Term 4 of Academic Year 2019/2020 will commence on Monday 29-Jun-2020 and last until Sunday 25-Aug-2020

     

  • Mid Term Breaks

    There are four midterm breaks over three Terms of Academic Year 2019/2020 and dates are as follows:

    28-October-2019 till 3-November-2019

    23-December-2019 till 5-January-2020

    17-February-2020 till 23-February-2020

    6-April-2020 till 19-April-2020

  • Planned Closures

    There are number of planned closures in Academic Year 2019/2020 - all days that will fall into that category are deducted from your Term.

    RIAM Winter EXAM Session: Saturday, 7 December 2019

    St. Patrick's Day: Tuesday 17 March 2020

    RIAM Summer EXAM Session: Saturday, 23 May 2020

    May Bank Holiday Weekend: 2,3,4 May 2020

    June Bank Holiday Weekend: 30-31 May & 1 June 2020

  • Fermata School of Music Lucan offer veriety of music lessons for children and adults. We are the only school of music in Lucan working over III Terms from September until end of July. Fermata School of Music Lucan offers Summer Lessons in July called Term III.
